NURA: Jungle & Drum and Bass in Kenya
Conduct Magazine travels to Kilifi, Kenya, to document NURA, a cultural platform connecting artists from East Africa and the UK through jungle and drum and bass.
Bringing together a growing Kenyan scene with some of the artists who have been at the forefront of the music in the UK, NURA creates a space for collaboration, knowledge sharing and new ideas. Across writing sessions, production workshops, DJ sessions and live events, artists come together to share experience and make music.
Featuring Fabio & Grooverider, DJ Krust, Darren Jay, Indigo Reign (Lady MC) , KÜrïbã, Syren Rivers and Nicky Maciocia, the film looks at the people behind NURA, the artists involved and the community developing around jungle and drum and bass in Kilifi.
